David Ziegler and Peninsula Top Man Dominate Devon

This year's Dressage at Devon will be remembered for a young man and his eventer-turned-dressage-horse sweeping the NAJYRC division, capturing the blue ribbon on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Everybody drank champagne!

Doug Hannum and Co. toasting David's success. THAT'S a proper celebration!

Topper and David were consistently impressive with scores in the 70's to win the PSG, the Freestyle, and the Individual YR tests. His performances have earned him the honor of Dressage Canada's Athlete of the Month for September.

Congratulations, David!

Shannon Dueck and Cantaris -- LOOKING GOOD! -- at the US Dressage Finals

Shannon Dueck rode Cantaris to a 3rd, 4th and 5th place finish at the recent US Dressage Finals in Lexington, KY.

In the Intermediate I Freestyle Championship Open, Shannon and Cantaris put in a lovely, flowing test to beautiful music (I love the violin in The Verve's hit "Bitter Sweet Symphony") to give them their highest placing of 3rd.

Enjoy!

To keep up with all the goings on in the Dueck household, visit her website, Dueck Dressage. Shannon, unfailingly generous with  her time and knowledge, regularly posts articles on training that are true gems!

Thank you, Shannon. And congratulations!

Sweet boy!
