Matt Brown and Tamra Smith Recipients of USEF Land Rover Competition Grants

Two of our sponsored riders for 2014/2015 - Matt Brown and Tami Smith - have been awarded USEF Land Rover Competition Grants for Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event in Allentown, New Jersey, on May 6-10 and the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials CCI3* in West Yorkshire, England, on June 11-14.

Matt Brown Takes 3rd at the American Eventing Championships

The advanced division of the American Eventing Championships turned out to be a slugfest between the top five horses, with scores so tightly bunched that a single rail each in stadium decided the day for the three of the top four finishers.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A RAIL MAKES

Matt Brown on his super steady Super Socks BCF was in excellent position going into stadium, sitting behind the leader, Laine Ashker, by only 7/10ths of a point. But stadium proved a challenge for virtually all the top competitors, with each horse and rider combination dropping a single rail in their round except for Buck Davidson and his mare, Petite Flower. The pair's faultless round moved them up from 4th to 1st.

CONGRATULATIONS, MATT AND SUPER SOCKS! ON TO FAIR HILL!
